William Smiley Johnstone

Smiley has an extensive background in Indigenous Affairs as a community representative, advocate, negotiator, and senior executive on Government and non- Government organisations. Smiley was CEO of the NSWLALC. In that role, he worked closely with the Land Council to ensure a clear separation of powers between the administrative and elected arms of the organisation. Smiley would welcome the opportunity to discuss IBS’s services.

Duncan John Hardie

Duncan’s career in real estate development spans some 40 years, 3 continents and over 100 separate projects. Duncan’s private business, Hardie Holdings Pty, has a wide and varied property and asset portfolio including both passive and active interest in residential, industrial and commercial land, tourism, conservation, major development, infrastructure and energy.

Duncan brings a wealth of strategic business planning expertise to IBS.

Matthew Somers

Matt has over 34 years experience in the property industry including project and development management, surveying and planning. Matthew has previously worked in both consultancy and private land development and has served on various professional Boards and Committees including the NSW Board of Surveyors. Matt is currently the Managing Director of Regional Land Pty Ltd a property company with developments across NSW.

Duncan Hardie and Matthew Somers are Directors who undertake a more strategic role in the development of the business and lend their considerable experience in the property field to direct strategic analysis as required.
